Members present. Cllrs Attridge [TA], Coles [JC], Tucker [FT], Ley [DL], Mitchell [PM] & Hurley [TDC]

Matters arising. LPC has formally responded to Mrs.Ip that we cannot proceed with adoption of the land referred to in the S106 until full compliance with the agreement and compliance with building regulations apropos the changing room block.
Mr Andrews at TDC contacted as required by the last meeting. As yet no reply.
Police. This is referred to in the TDC input
TDC. Cllr Hurley reported that there will be changes to waste collection. The black bags will now be collected fortnightly, but food waste will be collected weekly. The Boundary Commission has tendered its report, recommending reducing the number of electoral wards, resulting in 5 wards each with 3 councillors, 10 with 2 councillors [ ours is in this category] and one, at Winkleigh with just 1 councillor.
Torrington Lloyds bank will close on 26th June, leaving no banks in the town. The Post Office is to move to the McCoys convenience store, date as yet to be determined.
There has been a demand from the Police and Crime Commissioner for £24 Million extra funding for the police, and there will be reduction of PCSOs by 130 and an increase of regular police by 94.
Finance. Unchanged at £7540.67
Planning. Application by DCC to retain temporary classroom at Langtree Community School. Accepted unanimously. No further action required by LPC
